To manage her stage fright, an imaginative young composer leads a magical podcast journey through history and around the world to meet the Great Composers, learning lessons about building confidence and dreaming big along the way.

• 2022: Winner of Austin Film Festival’s Rooster Teeth Women & Animation Fellowship Award! Read about it in Deadline.

• 2022: Finalist in The International Screenwriters Association’s TV Pilot Pitch Challenge and a Finalist in Barnstorm Media’s BOLT Screenplay Competition.

• 2022: Official Selection at the Catalyst Festival, where the script received a SAG-AFTRA Table Read and creator Lillie Gardner presented a public pitch.

• 2023: Recognized in MovieMaker magazine, which featured Lillie Gardner on its 25 Screenwriters to Watch list.

• 2023: Animated teaser video produced with FableVision Studios. Watch on YouTube.

• 2023: Radio interview on WWFM - The Classical Network’s A Tempo with Rachel Katz.

• 2024: Shopping agreement with UK production company.

• 2025: Presently, the project is being revised based on industry feedback (from animation studios in Europe to creative executives in Hollywood!) and Lillie is writing a podcast version of the series.

ABOUT THE CREATOR

This project is created and written by Lillie Gardner, an award-winning screenwriter and piano instructor with a doctorate in music, who’s passionate about women’s history, education and good storytelling. Lillie is a 2025 Fred Rogers Productions Writers’ Neighborhood Fellow and has written episodes for the Wondery kids & family podcast Whose Amazing Life? Learn more at her website.
